365/ 28 - I picked two pictures for yesterdays post.  Mason and me were playing with bubbles while daddy went out with Jacob for a bit.  I was trying to photograph a bubble (which was way harder than I thought since I was the one blowing the bubbles: dip, blow bubbles, put down and try and focus and take picture!) 

 

So I did get one of those, but I also couldn't resist posting this one of Mason.   It is nearly impossible to get him to sit still for more than a second (while looking at me!) but I finally caught something :)

365/ 27: Rain.  Yeah, this was just before my outdoor photo shoot yesterday, while I was sitting in the van.

Okay, I've got 8 or nine days to post today! Yikes!  Here we go:

365/ 20:  Snow was still lingering and our first snowman of the year was still looking pretty good, despite the fact that his face has since melted off :)

365/ 21: This is all I got this day.  Tried to take a picture of the boys both sitting in daddy's chair from above... didn't work out so good :S

I'm still here! I'm still here!  Despite the fact that I haven't posted a new picture since January 19th, I have still been taking pictures.  Tonight I will get my butt back on it and post all of the ones to date.

Not much to say today other than I am glad the kids are in bed.....exhausting day!

Well today has more than one picture :) (A little story to go along with it!) 
Today I put up our new stick-on growth chart in the boys room. They helped me put up the stickers (on the lower half, lol) and it was a fun evening.

Okay, this is where the story starts...

They both came up and gave me a big 'group hug', so I thought I'd try and get a picture of them hugging too.
Me: "Can you give your brother a hug too so mommy can take a picture?"

Mason is alwasy gung-ho to hug, but Jacob wanted nothing to do with him at that moment (usually how it goes)

Okay today I managed to put more effort into it than last night, ha ha.
I was playing around with my flash again, and bounced this one off the wall. I am happy with how it turned out :)

Today I got my external flash! I am so excited!!!
As much as I love working with natural light, my house is horrible for lighting.  I am getting so tired of bumping my ISO as high as it goes, just to get a fast enough shutter speed to photograph my boys.  And most of the time it still doesn't cut it. I was so happy to play around with it ( I am such a flash newbie though!!).

Now, that said, this picture doesn't really show my flash skills, lol... but I absolutely love this picture. It was just a sweet moment I caught between Daddy and Jacob. *heart melts*

I didn't manage to get on last night, but I did get a photo yesterday.. even if it was right before bed :S

It's not the most exciting photo at all really, but it was the focus of a very exciting event yesterday.... Mason went pee on the potty for the first time!  We aren't actively trying to train yet, but the little monkey did it! Daddy and I were so proud :)

Well, we got snow yesterday, so Jacob & mommy had some fun out in the white stuff.  At this point though, I think Jacob had had enough of the cold, so he was about ready to go inside.

Tonight's dinner, as prepared by my wonderful husband.  He doesn't cook much (at all really!) but he did a fabulous job with the salmon tonight. It looked so nice, I just had to take a picture of it :D

This was my attempt yesterday... I had a vision in my head before I left work, but we left work 10 minutes later than usual, so the sun had set more than I wanted :(  But it is better than nothing!

Ak! I missed yesterday :(  Yep, I admit it...less than 2 weeks in and I already missed a day.

But I was back on track today and went scouring my house to find something different to photograph. The problem with trying to take picture in my house (besides the horrid lighting issues) is the fact that everything is cluttered. EVERYWHERE! I can't take a decent picture without the background crap ruining picture. Sigh. I guess this is just how it is these days!

But I got something decent (and different) today :)

Well I didn't get a change to post my picture yesterday, but I still took one!  I actually took several yesterday as the boys went to our friend Jayda's 3rd birthday party! It was a fun morning at Go Banana's and the boys tired themselves out good!
Here is a picture of Jacob inside the play thing (play thing? I don't know what else to call it!)  I don't know why this one stuck out to me.

Today was another one of those "Oh crap! I got to take a picture!" days. I have a feeling that there is going to be a lot of those.  It is is times like this though that I reeaaallly can't wait for spring to come.  I would love to take more pictures outdoors.

So here is my lovely (and by lovely I mean slightly harsh, on-camera flash lovely, lol) of my blue-eyed Mason!

Okay day 3! My original plan was to take a photo of the painting I was working on tonight at my aunts house. Unfortunately I left the house without my memory card (doh!) so I had to wait until I got home. Again.. another picture at 9:30pm...lol.  I love the colourful bokeh in the background!

Okay! I decided to go with a self portrait.. can you tell its night time?? The lighting in our place is horrible most times of the day. Oh well. Plus side was I got to play with my new remote trigger!! Love it!

I originally wanted to start my Project 365 on January 1st, but things were a little hectic around the household (sick kids and all) so I didn't really get on it until yesterday.  That's okay.. one day isn't a big deal. Funny thing is, its 9pm and I haven't taken today's picture yet! Eep! I better get on that... that would be a miserable start.
